I had never used a LG mobile phone before, but it was the LG GT505 which infatuated me a lot and as a result I could not hold myself from buying it. Honestly, to my surprise, I have found it to be amazing. It gives a very comfy and great feel to the hand. The device comes in a beautiful black casing which gives it a sober look. This gadget is equipped with most of the features of the day. It has a 240x400 pixels wide TFT touchscreen which is considerably wide to give a better span to the eyes. This touchscreen responds really promptly to the every touch made on it. An accelerometer sensor makes the auto rotation of the screen possible.
The LG GT505 is the first 3G phone I have owned so it excites me immensely. It has a 5 mega pixel camera for the imaging needs and interests, I personally like to snap photos a lot and have found that the it can click outstanding images. All the photos are well focused as the camera is supported with the features like auto focus and LED flash. There's one more functionality of the camera and that is Geo Tagging which lets you tag your images the way you wish, in my case I have not used it much. This camera can record the videos also. There is a secondary camera also for the video call purpose. The built-in music player and the FM radio produce a trully nice sort of sound.
When I tried logging into my Gmail account using the on board browser of the phone, it proved to be considerably fast and showed no hangs. The reason lies in the embedded high end connectivity functions like EDGE, GPRS and HSCSD. However, this device has the competency to set up a wire free connection also with the help of its WiFi, I have never happened to use it. The Bluetooth, besides making the data transfer easy, facilitates the wire free music listening too. Moreover, the LG GT505 comes with the A-GPS feature, which is an enhanced version of the normal GPS, it is indeed advantageous, I hope it will not let me go astray through the streets any more. On the whole, I am satisfied with the device and expect it to keep me satisfied, for say 6 more months.
